And here it finally is! What's been keeping me busy for almost a month now! ~metalfighterriku's birthday present! You see... I know she loves Link but I didn't know which Link to draw and with which girl and whatever but I also didn't want to ask her and give away what I was doing so I decided to just draw EVERY LINK EEEEEEEEVEEEEEEEEEEER!!!!!!!!! Well.... The Real Links. Not the TV series or CD-i Links. [STABS DP]

Anyway, this works roughly in release order by epoch, not chronological order since I haven't finished any of the Four Swords games yet and don't know where they fit into the plot and I didn't have time to figure it out. It goes Zelda 1/2, A Link to the Past/Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask, Oracles, Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass, Four Swords, and Twilight Princess.

I apologize in advance for the horrible Toon Links but they were the toughest part of the whole picture. Something about their perportions is fundamentally impossible for me to draw right. ;_; Also, I totally screwed up Majora's Mask too... :\ I should've just drawn one side and pasted it to the other side... :\

For best viewing, either hum or play an MP3 or Midi of the original Zelda's title screen music and start scrolling down slowly at the same point in the music where Zelda 1's title screen would begin its crawl. As such, I should point out I got the idea from the closing credits sequence for Harlock Endless Odyssey [link] .

And lastly, as you can see, I kinda went crazy with filters, textures, and other odds and ends. ^^; Anyway, I hope the result is good enough and well received so... Without further adieu...

Happy Birthday Mindy! I hope all the effort I put into this shows how much you mean to me and I hope you'll be my friend for a long, long time. :)

Awesome, Red! :o I love how you used the textures...I recognize most of them, but they work pretty effectively, especially how you did Volvagia.

My favorite tier is probably the Link's Awakening/Link to the Past one...somehow it really captures the mood of those games, for me. I also like the cute little Marin, and the cute Goron in Oracle of Seasons. XD

I think the whole thing is well-integrated; it's kind of like a tapestry of Zelda history. Excellent job. :)

Anyways... this looks amazing. ^^ :+fav: I like your use of the many textures... by the way. It gives your piece a spiffy kind of scrapbook/collage kind of look (for lack of a better word.) xD.

This is AMAZING! There are so many great Zelda series touches in this... My favorite panel has to be the Link's Awakening one, with the little Marin sprite and the Windfish, and the cool gradient sky and water! The LoZ/AoL panel is pretty awesome, too! But I also love the Shadow Link from Adventure of Link, the passage of time and the seasons in the Oracles panel, and I just really like the Wind Waker water side. He looks so cute with the Wind Waker in his mouth and the cute little puffy clouds! And I love that you included Tingle in Four Sword--I'm reminded of how much we shot him down! XD I also like the darkness and the glowing eyes in the Majora's Mask part, the way you colored Volvagia, and of course, Ganon at the top in all his piggish glory!

This is SO worth the effort you put into it! Mindy'll love it!

Really...? :\ I had such a hard time with them and I feel embarrassed by how they came out... :(

Thank you very much! ^^ I tried really hard to give everything a texture or filter that brought out the details in 3D as best I could! XD
